Discover our Foundation
The Foundation is tax exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. It is a separate entity from Centennial United Methodist Church, established to accept gifts that are held in an endowment fund. The principal of the gifted funds will be invested and preserved, and not be expended in perpetuity. Each year, we grant scholarships and fund ministries according to our policy manual.
Purpose:
Receive, protect, invest and administer gifts for Christian outreach of the local congregation.
Support current Centennial United Methodist Church ministry and outreach activities above and beyond what can be accomplished through regular giving in accordance with the Foundation policies.
Provide an opportunity for individuals and families to preserve their estate for their heirs and for gifting to charities.
Provide an opportunity for stewardship to continue long beyond one’s life.
